Rachel Trigg

Associate Director

Rachel leads Elton Consulting’s local government practice and has over 15 years of experience working in and with councils.

Rachel works closely with councillors, staff and communities to plan strategically for their future. She takes pride in developing approaches that are both far sighted and deliverable and has worked with numerous councils in metropolitan and regional NSW.

Rachel has also worked extensively with state government agencies and not-for-profit organisations. Her work has a particular focus on the interaction between urban and social policy, and on supporting organisational change aligned to strategy.

Rachel is a PhD qualified researcher and writer, with considerable expertise in designing and delivering community and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining Elton Consulting, Rachel held senior roles at Marrickville, Waverley and Parramatta Councils and was a lecturer at the University of New South Wales in the School of the Built Environment.
