Sarah is a social planner with extensive experience across a broad range of social planning projects for local and state governments and the private sector. Since joining Elton Consulting, Sarah has worked on many social infrastructure planning projects, determining existing and future community needs for social infrastructure and services.
Sarah has worked on numerous community facilities planning and strategy development projects, and has managed detailed community facilities studies that focus on the development of a vision and specifications for a specific facility.
Demonstrated experience includes program evaluation, needs assessment, open space, sport and recreation facility planning and projects focusing on social sustainability, healthy urban development and community wellbeing.
In addition, Sarah has strong skills in demographic analysis, infrastructure and service gap identification, population growth and change analysis, identification of existing and future requirements, and development of recommendations for future social infrastructure and service provision.
She is also highly adept at researching national and international leading practice approaches and contemporary case studies of social infrastructure provision such as libraries and recreational facilities.
A Registered Landscape Architect, prior to Elton Consulting, Sarah worked on a range of civic, residential, institutional and recreational landscape planning and design projects.
Sarah holds a Master of Policy Studies, (Social Policy) and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of NSW. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
