Scott Alcorn has more than 25 years experience in the property development industry; providing accurate, concise and robust advice across sectors including infrastructure, rural, retail, commercial, industrial and residential development, and mining.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the technical, political, social, environmental and commercial factors influencing development, enables Scott to provide tailored advice for clients at both a strategic and implementation level.
Prior to joining Elton Consulting, Scott was the Director of ‘alcorn planning + property’. Previously, he has held roles in property development companies, private consultancies, local and state governments and not-for-profit organisations in NSW and QLD. In these roles, Scott was responsible for strategic advisory and/or implementation of projects encompassing the full spectrum of the development and construction process.
Scott is committed to maximising outcomes for clients by delivering projects that are on time, within budget, and that meet social obligations, community expectations and a commercial return. Strong project management skills and a proactive approach to problem solving ensure that Scott continually provides clients with high quality service throughout their project.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England, a Diploma in Urban Estate Management from the University of Technology and a Diploma in Property Studies from the University of South Australia.
