Stacy has spent more than 19 years working in the media and government communications, including in senior roles in major metropolitan news agencies and within the NSW government.

Prior to starting at Elton Stacy worked as Senior Media Adviser to NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, in which she developed and delivered strategic and crisis communications plans for major projects across the Justice, Local Government, Environment, Energy, Arts and Legal portfolios. She also advised the Premier and Ministers on messaging, marketing, advertising and media materials on a day-to-day basis.

Previously, Stacy worked in a range of roles across the Daily and Sunday Telegraphs, including Assistant Editor, Production Editor, Chief of Staff, Masthead Chief and Senior Writer.

 

Throughout her career, Stacy has managed teams and tight, multiple deadlines with a focus on accuracy and consultation. She is very experienced in internal and external stakeholder engagement and management and in producing and editing communications materials.

Stacy studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) at the University of South Australia.
