Wendy is a community relations specialist, with considerable expertise in place management and strategic communications.

Since joining Elton Consulting in 2014, Wendy has worked on a diverse range of community engagement projects, including the high profile Western Sydney Airport, where she was the Place Manager responsible for tenancy and cemetery relocation matters. Her work often involves the management of stakeholder relations in sensitive and rapidly changing environments. She has a strong sense of team work and collaborates with clients to address project risks and develop effective engagement protocols. With empathy and skilled interpretation of community needs, she has achieved an outstanding reputation for building community trust.

Prior to Elton Consulting, Wendy provided communications, community liaison and stakeholder management services and advice to a wide range of government and private sector clients, including Orica Australia and Sydney Water.

In these roles she managed the planning and development of communications and community and stakeholder liaison for multiple projects. This included legacy projects involving remediation and wastewater infrastructure.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts (Urban/Social geography) from the University of Sydney.
