Chris Larsen has extensive experience as a communications professional and is an experienced journalist. His experience within the property sector has focused on communications and media management, campaigns and strategy, issues and crisis management, and content management and publishing.
Chris previously worked at Cotton Australia,. As Communications Manager, Chris created and led communications strategy and planning for the organisation and industry, engaged key stakeholder groups, and supported the organisation’s policy objectives. He provided media training and guidance to Board members and staff, and led all outward communications activities. Key achievements included growing media hits by more than 200% while maintaining positive coverage and growing social media engagement by more than 600%.
Previously, Chris was Director of Publishing & Communications for the Property Council of Australia. In this role he advised the business unit on communications strategy and crisis management, created and implemented communications strategy, published the organisation’s magazine and managed the communications team. Prior experience was as a journalist for News Limited and Fairfax, specialising in property.
