Sarah Jones is a highly experienced community and strategic planner who has spent over a decade working in health and community services across Australia. Specifically, Sarah has spent the vast majority of her career working in rural and remote regions of NSW and QLD; focussing on community development, community and health planning, capacity building and service delivery within Aboriginal communities.
Prior to joining Elton Consulting Sarah was the Manager – Strategy and Planning for St Vincent’s Health Network and supported the strategic planning process for the Darlinghurst Campus redevelopment. Sarah has also worked for NSW Rural Doctors Network and the Darling Downs, South West QLD Medicare Local on Commonwealth funded programs.
Sarah brings a passion for impact measurement and evidence-based planning, service and strategy development. Since joining Elton Consulting, Sarah has led a number of projects that have further developed her belief in the importance of embedding these processes into the core of her work.
Sarah is also a skilled facilitator and engagement practitioner with experience consulting with a broader range of stakeholders including with community members, and government agencies.
Sarah holds Bachelor degrees in Human Services and Community Development and is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration (Social Impact) from the University of NSW.
Sarah also holds a Certificate in Community Consultation through the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
