Central Park, Broadway is a major redevelopment to create a commercial, residential and retail precinct opposite the University of Technology (UTS). The site has achieved world standard architecture and design. It will also meet the highest sustainability benchmarks including Green Building Council Australia 6 star green star accreditation of new buildings and precinct-based sustainable energy and water measures.

Elton Consulting has been engaged to provide overall strategic development advice, facilitate multi-disciplinary project teams, design and implement complex community consultation processes and manage high-level strategic issues to support this project.

In 2009, Elton Consulting took the lead in developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the site. This complex process involved stakeholder engagement and specialist knowledge of environmentally and socially sustainable principles.

Elton Consulting has also been responsible for preparing community planning and community development strategies to build a sustainable, vibrant living and working community on the former Carlton United Breweries site in Chippendale, Sydney.
